Congratulations to the girls of Splash  

Splash was a dream by several ten year old girls who wanted to have fun playing soccer with their friends.  The girls who presently participate with Splash play for several different select soccer teams in the St. Louis area.  These girls come together once a week to play hard, smart soccer and to have FUN.  The team plays at Concord Sports Club, part of the Vetta Sports Clubs, at 12320 Old Tesson Ferry Road, St. Louis, Missouri.  For more information about Concord Sports, go to www.vettasports.com.

The team began play in the Winter of 1999 with twelve fourth graders who just wanted to play together.  In addition to having fun, they played good, competitive soccer and finished the season in a tie for the best fourth grade girls team at Concord.  At the insistence of several of the girls, the team evolved into a fourth and fifth grade team made up of sixteen girls.  The first Splash team became known for their blue green tie dyed shirts.  Not to be outdone, the next Splash team diversified into a rainbow of colors.  The present Splash team of twenty plus fifth and sixth graders continues that tradition.

Enjoy visiting our site which is dedicated to all four groups of Splash girls who are successful because they play hard. Congratulations to the present group: Mary, Elizabeth, Mandy, Jordan, Mary Kate, Carrie, Casey, Jessica, Emily, Caitlin, Danielle, Katie, Jamie, Carey, Katie, Danielle, Sarah, Haley, Jackie, Jennifer, Jessica, and Danielle.  That's right - three Katie's (sp), two Danielle's, two Carrie(Carey)'s, two Jessica's, and two Mary's.  Thank Heavens they all don't show up each week!

Four Straight Indoor Championships!

The girls finished the Winter II 5th and 6th grade girls select league as UNDEFEATED CHAMPIONS after defeating the Purple Cheetahs  Monday, April 10th, 5-3 !!!  Congratulations Girls!!!

On February 1, the girls defeated the U-12 JB Marine girls to capture the Winter I 1999-2000 Concord indoor 6th grade girls championship.
